Fencing Basics

In my class Digital Media, in my Elective Term, we are learning about how to publish a blog post. We are learning about the proper ways to publish slide shows and projects. We took a quiz to test our knowledge about blogging. I have created a slide show about the basics of Fencing. I hope you enjoy!

I Need A Doctor

For this last unit, Prevention in our STEAM class Cure, we studied how different diseases can be prevented. We also looked at how we measure risk for certain types of illnesses based on different categories. Lifestyle, physical exercise genetics, and diet, are some of the factors that we looked at. We created a family medical tree. We were able to look at the family members and see how likely it would be for the disease to be passed on. For this Action Project, we played the role of a doctor. We would go through the patient’s medical profile and help them treat an illness or disease. I chose to do my grandmother because she is one of the most influential and important people to me. I really struggled to gather my information from my grandmother because there is a language barrier. Stopping HIV and AIDS

This is the third and final action project for MDGs. The MDGs class focused on each and every goal. We discussed them and thought about what we could do to achieve these new goals. This class helped me understand the world better. I now understand where we are in economic and development growth. I think taking this MDG class changed me and changed the way I think about the world. This final topic I chose is about stopping HIV and AIDS. We had to choose one goal between #6, #7, or #8. I chose number six. I chose number six because HIV and AIDS are a very serious disease and needs to be talked about. I used Greece as an example country for my AP3. Learning about the side effects of HIV and AIDS was the hardest for me because it is such a sad topic. Climate in Budapest

For our my Action Project in the course H20, we looked at factors that influence the weather and how the weather patterns. The project was to take a close look at a city I chose Budapest, and I made predictions as to what the future would look like for the city and what steps we can to bring changes. There was a lot of research and reading, I learned a lot about this city in Hungary. I am Happy with the outcome of the project and how my visuals turned out.
